Beaches
In town the sea meets rocks along the Promenade. For sand, head south to the beaches the Department of Tourism has developed — Pondy Marina, Eden (Blue Flag–certified) and Paradise — or north across the Tamil Nadu border to Serenity Beach at Kottakuppam.
